Acne is an inflammatory disease of the sebaceous glands, and it is usually found on forehead, cheeks, chin, nose, shoulders and back.
Increased amount of male sex hormones (also in the woman's body) causes intense production of sebum in the sebaceous glands and the obstruction of its ducts. The visible result is what we call acne.
Inappropriate cosmetics is also involved in the formation of acne, incorrect care techniques, inappropriate clothing (synthetic fibres, sweat), and also some drugs (steroids, vitamins B).
Acne bothers young people especially from puberty, but often persists into adulthood. The good news is that it can be effectively treated.
Firstly we recommend to patients using appropriate products for skin care.
It should be cleansing micellar water and foaming gels for cleansing the skin, that the clean skin and prepare for medicine application.
